Quick painting of Super buu, his arm looks wierd, but i cant be arsed to fix it lol. [EDIT] Fixed it, kinda... still looks weird, but less mahoosive now lol.
Mostly a colour/painting/anatomy study, albeit a kinda crap attempt, its not too bad considering its the first work that i used a brush that i made from scratch .
Wanted something dark, kinda got it, not sure if im going to like it in a week, but who cares about then ay!
This picture is amazing with the lighting. The darkness is balanced out with the light. The colour of the energy force around Buu comes out of the darkness and seems to actually glow like it is real. What i suggest is less empty space at the bottom of the picture, but at the same time nothing should be directly in the center of the frame. Anyway the backligting is really effective and my eyes are definately drawn to his face. The whites on his pants make sure for some interest in the whole picture instead of just the reds and greens.
Hiya! I liked this picture so much I featured it in this journal of mine [link] among other Dragon Ball images I really found beautiful. I hope it's not a problem. There's something particularly interesting about this picture, be it the contrast between the dominant dark tones and the colored lights, or Buu's glance looking away from the viewer. Anyway, I do really like this. My compliments!
Please take a look at the other pictures if you have the time - you won't be disappointed and you could make someone else's day with a comment or a fave! You can also fave the journal to help giving their (and, well, yours too ^^) art more exposure, but that's up to you of course. And again, thanks a lot for sharing such a beautiful piece!
